Our 3rd graders had an out-of-this-world day! 🚀✨

Before becoming scientists for the afternoon, students enjoyed lunch and playground time at Gooseberry Park. Then it was off to the MSUM Planetarium where they connected their classroom planet research to real-life learning experiences.

Students followed an alien family through the Solar System, learning about each planet up close and personal while also discovering more about the stars and galaxies that make up our universe. The planetarium was filled with smiles, “WOWs,” and excitement as students explored space in a whole new way.

Of course, even while learning about planets, stars, and galaxies, some students still made sure to remind Mrs. Peterson and Ms. Christensen that the NDSU Bison and Concordia were “better.” 😉🐉🦬


It was a day full of learning, laughter, and memories our students won’t forget!

On May 13th Kindergarten went on their end of the year field trip! They started the day at the Becker County Museum and had a ton of fun exploring everything their children's section had to offer. Then they went to Detroit Lakes City Park to play and have lunch. They ended the day at Trowbridge Zoo and got to see and feed so many different animals. It was a great way to spend a beautiful day!

The Tigers competed at the Anderson-Schuler Invitational on Friday, May 8, and came away with some great performances and personal bests! 💪🐅

🏅 Karson Jensen placed 2nd in the Long Jump
⚡ James Stockinger & Hunter Berneking both PR’d in the 100M Dash
🔥 Cory Opsahl PR’d in the 200M Dash
🥏 Wyatt Irish & Cory Opsahl both PR’d in Discus

Our athletes continue to demonstrate strong effort, competitive spirit, and consistent improvement throughout the season. We’re excited to see their hard work continue to pay off as their regular season comes to an end this week!

Today's Baseball game at Ulen vs NCE-UH has been postponed until Tuesday 5/19 with an early game at 1:30 PM. Varsity team only, the C team game is cancelled.

The Team 56 were all smiles as they headed for a day in the cities. They will be going to the State Capital, Science Museum, and Fort Snelling!

• C Team will play at 6:00 PM

• First game begins at 4:00 PM

The 5th Graders put their math skills to work saving "patients" by solving problems using the order of operations. Luckily, no patient was lost on the operating table.
