The filing dates for the school board elections are open from July 14-July 28.
At its meeting on Tuesday, July 14th, 2026, the Rothsay Public School District School Board appointed Joe Ouren to fill the vacant school board seat following the resignation of Mike Metzger. The appointment is effective 30 days from July 14th, 2026 and will continue until Dec 31st, 2026, in accordance with Minnesota Law.
The School Board welcomes Joe and looks forward to his service to the students, staff, and community.
