The Rothsay Track and Field C Team braved the cold at a meet in Ada on Thursday, April 30th. All eight Tigers placed top six in at least one of their events! We had standout performances in throwing, with Casey Opsahl placing 2nd and Alea Klossner placing 3rd in both shot put and discus. It's also worth noting that, out of 11 teams, our boys' team took 8th place overall with 2 people, and our girls' team took 7th place with 6 people. Way to go, Tigers!

The Rothsay Tigers hit the track at the UCB Booster Meet in Hawley on Thursday, April 23, going head-to-head with 13 teams—and made their presence known!

🏃♂️ Dawson Leabo sprinted to an electrifying 1st place finish in the 100M Dash!
⚡ SPEED SURGE:
🏃♂️ Hunter Berneking & Kody Leininger both crushed PRs in the 100M Dash
🏃♂️ Cory Opsahl pushed the pace and earned his season best in the 800M
🌟 FLYING FAR:
🏅 Karson Jensen launched a huge 21’5” season-best jump in the Long Jump!

The Rothsay Track and Field C Team had their season opener in Pillager on Tuesday, April 20th. Highlights include Casey Opsahl placing 3rd in Shot Put, 4th in the 100 M Dash, and 7th in Discus. Silas Boots also debuted with a 7th place finish in the 200 M Dash. For the girls' team, Emersyn Wahl, Abbie Klee, Brooklyn Thompson, and Alea Klossner took 3rd in the 4x100 Relay! Other standout performances included Klossner placing 4th in Discus and 5th in Shot Put, Wahl placing 7th in the 100 M Dash and 7th in the 200 M Dash, and Thompson placing 7th in Shot Put.
