The Rothsay Tigers traveled to Wheaton on Monday, May 4 to compete in the JT Border West Invitational. There were 5 teams participating — and the Tigers delivered another strong performance! 💙💛
🏆 TOP FINISHES OF THE DAY:
🥇 Dawson Leabo sprinted to a 1st Place finish in the 100M Dash with a time of 11.65! (Winner of a bucket hat for his 1st Place Finish)
🥈 Dawson also placed 2nd in the 200M Dash and 🥉 3rd in Long Jump!
💪 FIELD EVENT STANDOUTS:
🥈 Loken Brandt – 2nd Place in Shot Put (40' 5.5")
🥉 Wyatt Irish – 3rd Place in Shot Put (39' 9.5") and 6th in Discus

✈️ Our Rothsay 9th graders had an incredible opportunity today at the Fergus Falls Municipal Airport thanks to the Young Eagles Flight program!
Students had the chance to experience aviation up close and even take to the skies with volunteer pilots. What an unforgettable experience and a great way to inspire future careers and adventures!
